We Hate Poor People

I didn’t have money for food this weekend. Not because I didn’t earn any, but because I wasn’t paid upon providing a service. Dog walking and sitting, mostly. My favorite clients are the people who pay before I take their dogs home or immediately after I drop them off. Not the people who take days to pay. It’s absurd to me. I try my best to set expectations, but sometimes people are not thinking that maybe their dog sitter might not have food.
